Dr. Chrétien's House

Like its owner, the house of Dr. Jean-Rémi Chrétien, built circa 1890, has beautiful poise. This Victorian, Second Empire-style house stands out with its middle tower on the front façade and it's four-sided, mansard sheet roof. Its particular style deserves a stop.

Dr. Jean-Rémi Chrétien practiced for 65 years, from 1898 to 1963. In addition to treating people, he was mayor of Saint-Frédéric, School Board chair and Credit Union chair for 20 years.
