North Hatley

An Anglo-Saxon charm by the shores of Lake Massawippi

The municipality of North Hatley was established in 1897. A resort area, North Hatley is located on the northern shore of Lake Massawippi, about thirty kilometers south of the city of Sherbrooke. From the village, a vast panorama opens onto Lake Massawippi, a large body of water oriented in the same direction as the Appalachian range.

The tradition of vacationing in North Hatley developed throughout the 20th century, making it a sought-after destination today, particularly for its tourist facilities and the high quality of its inns.
