The Jean-Marie-Turcotte Arena, which you’re standing in front of—inaugurated on March 11, 2016—is the pride of the neighborhood! In addition to the arena, the building houses a community hall on the second floor, perfect for hosting various gatherings. On the facade, take a moment to admire the stunning artwork by Brigitte Toutant titled “Reverbération.”
The photo shown here depicts the old arena, built in 1962 by the villagers, who contributed part of their paychecks and a great deal of their time to the project! The outdated structure was demolished in 2015 to make way for the stunning glued-laminated timber building you see before you!
If you love water sports, the Cloutier neighborhood is perfect for you! With its six lakes and rivers, there’s no shortage of bodies of water in this area. There’s even an esker running along the west side of Route 391! Whether you explore it by road or by water, this neighborhood is definitely worth discovering!
