The artwork features colorful reflective patterns that repeat and organize into symmetrical motifs. This effect is created by the interior lining of mirror-finished stainless steel and the suspension of colored elements in the upper band.
During the day, the sky's hue and the movement of clouds blend with the colorful patterns. The sun's rays, depending on their angle, also contribute to the reflective effects inside the artwork. In the evening, an LED light strip positioned at the top of the band illuminates the interior of the tower. This reactivates the magic, projecting magnificent colorful and vibrant reflections onto the ground.
Trained in visual arts, architecture, and urban planning, Camille Rajotte creates works that draw directly from the places where they are situated. At the intersection of public art, architecture, and urban design, her practice explores ways of inhabiting and interacting with public space.
Her interventions transform everyday places into experiences to be lived, inviting visitors to slow down, observe their environment differently, and gain a renewed perspective on the city.
