Morin‑Heights | In Harmony with Nature

This guided tour will allow you to discover Morin-Heights through its magnificent landscapes, its built heritage and the people who have shaped its history. Its Irish, Scottish, English, Swiss, Scandinavian, and French-Canadian origins compose a unique portrait of a dynamic community that has reinvented itself many times over, thanks to the ingenuity of its inhabitants.

From survival farming to an economy based on the tourist industry, the people of Morin-Heights have
adapted to the changes of Quebec society while remaining in close contact with their environment.

United around their passions for skiing and music, they are proud of their traditions and welcome the new generations who come to perpetuate this deeply rooted motto. In harmony with nature!

PARKING

Points 1 to 23 are easily reached on foot, but travelling by bicycle or car is recommended for points 24 to 28. Two public parking lots along Lac-Écho Road are available. The first is at Basler Park, and the second is behind Chalet Bellevue.

Access to the Carruthers Industry property, where point 10, "Joseph Edgar Seale's Sawmill" is located, is prohibited.
