Potton Historical Tour

Discover Potton, the incomparable Eastern Township region lying along the shores of Lake Memphremagog, in the heart of the Green Mountains.

Frequented for thousands of years by aboriginal peoples and settled by pioneers from the United States at the end of the 18th century, Potton has a unique history marked by cultural diversity, a rich Anglo-American legacy and a remarkable architectural heritage.

The township of Potton owes its name to the town of Potton, located in Bedfordshire, England. The village of Mansonville is the administrative center.

EXPLORE

The interactive map of BaladoDiscovery lets you locate points of interest and access each story on demand.

ON SITE

The proposed tour includes 15 points of interest spread across the township. Discover the places around you at your own pace, based on what interests you. The interactive map helps you orient yourself in real time. It also suggests a route that takes you off the beaten path.

Throughout the journey, you’ll discover breathtaking landscapes of mountains, lush forests, rolling meadows, and vast farmland.

ENHANCED IMMERSION

For a fully enhanced immersion, additional points of interest can be accessed directly from your interactive Potton guide (in addition to the current circuit). Simply select the See Around tool, available once the circuit map is open, under the Options menu.

OPTIMIZED EXPERIENCE

We recommend using the BaladoDiscovery mobile app for the best experience. The tour can be enjoyed online (streaming) or offline with the app preloaded, making it ideal if you don’t have a data plan. Each point of interest includes a Route Directions feature, providing voice-guided navigation to guide you easily from one location to the next.

Enjoy exploring!
