CONTEXT

Located on the south shore of the St. Lawrence River, 80 kilometers from Quebec and by the west side of the Chaudière River, the town of Saint-Frédéric offers many attractions to visitors.

Its rich and diversified built heritage is noteworthy. Its church made of fieldstone, the old convent, the dignitaries' beautiful houses, the general store, as well as barn-cowsheds, schoolhouses and wayside crosses: all have a distinct character.

You will have a scenic view of the surrounding landscape at the junction of rang Saint-Narcisse and rang 1, towards Saint-Frédéric. At night, you can see the illuminated cross built in rang Saint-Louis to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the parish, established in 1851; you can also pray at the Marian Centre nearby.

In addition to our heritage tour, you can also visit the Goulet Blueberry Farm to pick your own blueberries, cool off at its ice-cream parlor or visit its fresh and ready-made blueberry product stand.
